- Software companies that charge for software maintenance/upgrades to fix the bugs they left in there in the first place!!
- Littlehampton Tip opening later at weekends 9am (due to site maintenance) instead of 8am, on the days that people that work during the week can actually attend. I want to get the tip run out of the way to enjoy the rest of my day and judging by the queues at that time it seems most other people want to do the same thing.
- Random roundabout lane markings, the one where I live has changed 3 times and causes lots of confusion. Lets keep it that unless it is an actual filter lane that is sectioned off from the roundabout, that you can always go left or straight on in the left hand lane, the last thing I want to be worrying about when I am driving in an unknown town, is which bloomin lane should I be in for straight on, or at least sign post which lane I should be in before I get there instead of just marking the road just before the actual roundabout by which time you find out you are in the wrong lane!
- Your call is important to us.... All our agents are busy right now, please call back later -Click! - another call charged for that I obtained no answer, what happened to not answering the phone if you can't take the call, at least I am not being charged! (Need I say more).
- More to come ....

Adventures at Thorpe Park
After a disastrous visit last year to Thorpe Park where over 8 of the rides broke down or were shut we were given free tickets to come back this year.
So this weekend we returned to see if things had improved, but things were no better, the interactive film was closed, the railway, the safari ride, the log ride broke down and a 2 hour queue built up for tidal wave before they decided to add a third boat to speed the queues up! It was a sunny Saturday why on earth did they not have 3 on from the start?
But the whole place looks shabby and run down, all of the paintwork is peeling and it could not be more opposite to its sister attraction Legoland. If you have children below 10 years old, I would not recommend Thorpe Park. Take them to Chessington or Legoland.

Interest rates & inflation
The Bank of England have not not changed the interest rate this month, but my stingy mortgage provider did not pass on the full cut from the last time it was lowered, it seems to me that the banks have it all their way, they cut their savings rates yet keep the mortgages high, not really fair is it.
But the main thing I do not understand is how hiking interest rates helps curb inflation. Imagine this scenario. If I am a shop keeper with a mortgage to pay and interest rates go up, then I have to put up the price of my goods to make up for the shortfall. So how does that help keep inflation down?
Why is it water has gone up by 8%, trains by 10%, gas & electric by 15% and fuel by goodness knows how much, the price of a loaf of bread is well over a pound and yet they say inflation is under control. I will never understand economic policy.......

Tytn II short comings
This week I upgraded to a Tytn II a nice phone but there is a few things I don't like about it,
- It's power button is too recessed and hard to find
- They took away the infrared (can't use it as a universal remote anymore)
- There is no flash on the camera anymore (can't use it as a torch anymore)
- The phone start and end call buttons do not light up
- I wish it had an FM radio and that the camera was 5 mega pixels instead of 3.
